Ipsen’s works are all glazed in monochrome glazes to attract the viewer in the mirror of the sculpture and several of the works are underlined with strings of Leather or PVC to show the contrast of the object’s shape and to express the sculpture’s movements. But in some of the sculptures you can see the light as a contrast to the shiny glaze which highlight the movement in the sculpture.
Ipsen has a vision about putting his works in a spatial context influenced by room, architecture and man.
