The topics I am touching with the works for Correlation, are Mans conflicts and connection with and to nature and the issues we are facing because of that.

These subjects have interested me for a long time, but now it seems more relevant than ever to bring these considerations into the conversation.

As the porcelain figurine traditionally is an object created to start conversations I find it an ideal genre to spark relevant and urgent conversations

Everything we do have influence on our surroundings. We see it in the state of the planet but our actions also have impact emotionally as we are social animals. We all correlate mentally and physically. How we treat one another eventually have an impact on our selves.

Recently I have developed a new approach to glazing and moved further than the whiteness of the uncolored, transparent glaze, my works are well known for, and have begun working with colored glazes. During the corona lockdown, I started some small-scale experiments with works in stoneware. This opened a door for me into a more expressive approach to my ceramic works, and a part of this development is how I am letting the glazes play a more active role underlining the content and action of the porcelain works.

Correlation will also show examples of these works in stoneware
